Our lego table, Rigamajig, and game & puzzle tables will keep young engineers engaged for hours, and our beautiful map features cool stuff to do around South Bend!

Cook a delicious meal in the food truck, tinker with a working model of an engine, or design a marble run on the magnetic pipe & gear walls! Then pick veggies in the garden to sell to the market, give a baby a check up in the doctor’s office, or measure and weigh a parcel in the post office.

Our cozy camping nook is right next to a babbling brook! Scurry up the climbing wall to explore animal habitats, build a nest for baby owls, and play with bouncing light in the weather station. Or dive undersea to discover a sunken treasure chest, steer the SS Beluga, and dig for dino bones!

Lights, camera, action! Design your own costume or pick a puppet & let the magic begin! Aspiring directors can use the whisper tube to communicate with backstage crew. Camera shy? Try out our animation studio instead. Or create a soundtrack for your production at the music station!

The toddler area is right at the heart of our museum. Little ones can climb a mountain, meet some new neighbors, or build a railroad…while parents or caregivers keep an eye on older siblings!

Our vet’s office is a big hit with young animal lovers! Schedule an appointment in the office, give your pet an exam or a bath, and consult some x-rays and microscopic slides.

Throw some coal in our steam locomotive and chug away on a train adventure! The back train car is our quiet space – curl up with a good book, design a felt board tableau, or take a soothing rock in the pod swing. Can you use every element in our train table challenge?
